Behind the Mask

So, I'm working on my character drawing skills a bit, particularly my line drawings for now, and picked a yet-to-be-written chapter of my fanfic " Full Circle" for a scene to illustrate. Little by little Hank's defying the 'scumbag' Adrian initially pinned him as. In this particular chapter, when he actually opens up enough to cue her in on some of the reasons he is the way he is.... she realizes there's a person hiding in that antagonist's frame. I wanted to capture the exact moment the thought hits her on that rather bitingly cold December day, when she looks at him and sees someone so completely different. I think I might have managed, I'm rather pleased with it.

And actually, if any DA colorists out there are interested in tackling the coloration of this piece (you're a brave soul, for one) feel free to note me, and I'll give you the specs on stuff like hair\eye color for the characters. Squee
