DOOOOOOOOOOD. OH NO. YOU SO DID. I was hoping you'd chosen Lala for the contest option 'cause I reeeeeaaaally wanted to see you draw Lala, but little did I know you'd also be drawing VIRTUALLY THE ENTIRE CLAN. OMFG.

Lala looks amazing. You really captured her small size nicely while maintaining that sort of magical whimsy about her. She's cute but not cheesy-cute -- just gives off a warm, happy feeling. Her hands are neato, I like her long fingers. Sexy toned belly! As usual, you added the coolest accessories ever. She's just gorgeous! Nice job with her half-head of hair, her protruding upper lip, her sweet smile, adorable nose, and beautiful eyes. Her expression is wonderful.

EEE @ the fire! Fire is so hard to draw in linework. The light/smoke rising from it is stylish and wraps around Lala nicely. The 'sacred circle' is such a lovely part of the picture -- you're great with details like that, really helps to give us a sense of the beautiful and spiritual environment they live in. OMG and the twisty trees, and the painstakingly-rendered cobblestone all around the circle............ dude. I wanna move there. I LOVE the lanterns. I never think of adding nifty things like that. TEACH ME, GURU.

Auuuuuuugh, I can't believe you fit SO MANY of the clan members in the pic!!! You rule at massive group pics and layering people-perspective stuffs. They all interact believably and aren't just thrown on top of each other on a flat plane. I love that Lala is the obvious focus of the drawing, but that you showed a little bit of everyone else too -- not just as individuals, but in terms of how they act and socialize as a group and 'family'. You totally nailed all the different personalities! Sabby and Tane snoozing comfortably like real felines... The alpha family relaxed and content in the warmth of the pack... Lakota, the curious but independent young pup off to one side... Kael and Koura snuggling lovingly... Acadia being such a mom and playing with her little boy... Antisocial Reich scowling in the far, far distance. ROFL. It's so great, everyone is "them" and it's awesome that you get all of our separate characters.

Speaking of which, thank you so much for including some of my characters! *DELIGHT* I squeed till I couldn't squee no mo'! OMG there's like FIVE of my babies in there. It's a contest entry for Brianne but I made off like a bandit in this too! Mwahahahah!! Sabine and Tane are beautiful, I can't get enough of the way you draw felines, it's just so unique and FUZZEH. LOOKIT THE SCRUFF. *dives into it* I like that Tane has only one claw out and the others are sheathed, it's like he's in mid-dream about hunting something. LOL. They're so cuuuuute in their big kitty pile. I feel the love. Eeee! It just makes me so happy. CZENZI CUDDLES ROCK. They're also the perfect size -- I don't think I ever mentioned their dimensions in proprtion to humans, but in quadruped form, that's right on the money! I love their awesome accessories and the fact that the alpha family is leaning not just against them, but almost INTO them, like big furry pillows! It shows the level of comfort and trust between the bunch of them and it's so very sweet and warms my heart at this time of year.

Apache is the cutest munchkin EVAR. Heheheh, the classic "nestled-into-mommy's-boobies" snuggle! I love her hair, and her tiny little hand is precious. Good job at having her resting on Grimm, resting on Cro, resting on the kitties! Everyone's weight looks so well-settled and COMFY. Mweehee, Lakota's "yeah alright, this is kinda cool" posture and his pudgy belly make me smile!

Kael and Koura -- I'd never seen them in their human forms, but they're sooooo adorable together! Kael's hands on Koura's arms is just EEE. So tender and loving. And then Acadia playing with Mercer, I LOVE that. That's exactly how the Ellis family works -- Acadia and Mercer as the overtly affectionate and fun-loving pair, with Reich sort of grumpy and cold off to the side. I like that he's standing near his family even if not outright participating in playtime, because it shows his subtle but intense protective nature, and the way he still looks at the rest of the clan with his perpetual brand of mistrust. ROFL I liked Brianne's description -- "And of course I recognized the hotness that is Reich back there with his moody face haha." LMAO!! Yes, you did his hotness total justice.

Fabulous entry, Mel my belle! It's so nice as it is, it doesn't even NEED color, but I'd be thrilled to see it colored too. Best of luck, 'cause that is an INSANE amount of detail, but I've no doubt you can do it! If you do end up coloring the whole thing, this should SO be on the front page to Velut Luna. It shows a little bit of everyone, their way of life, and their home!

Good luck in the contest, too -- this is really a killer entry. I'm fearing for my chances!
